The FuelBox Tank and Tool Box Combo 87 Gallon Smooth Spray Liner Finish Model FTC90MS

The FuelBox Tank and Tool Box Combo 87 Gallon Smooth Spray Liner Finish Model FTC90MS

FTC90 offers the most fuel capacity for any long bed pickup. Designed to sit flush or below the bed rails; clears most gooseneck and fifth wheel hitches. Fuel tank is made from .125 marine grade aluminum with a minimum of two interior baffles. Reinforced seams (90-degree flange) double the weld joint thickness. Toolbox and lid are built from .100 marine-grade aluminum with extra-large stiffener. Features stainless steel latch/lock assemblies and full-length continuous hinge. Rain channel with neoprene on the lid ensures a weather-tight seal. Toolbox bottom is independent of the tank top for added protection. DOT & EPA compliant in all 50 states for diesel fuel only. All mounting hardware is included.

Warning: Proper Use of Auxiliary Tanks

To ensure safety and optimal performance, do not fill your auxiliary tank to 100% capacity. Auxiliary Tanks require sufficient headspace to allow for fuel expansion and vapor buildup. Overfilling the tank can lead to:

    • Fuel Leaks: Excess fuel may escape through vents or seals, posing safety and environmental risks.
    • Increased Pressure: Without adequate space for vapor, pressure buildup can damage the tank or connected systems.
    • Compliance Issues: Overfilled tanks may violate local or federal regulations for fuel transport.

    Safe Filling Recommendations

    • Fill the tank to 90% of its capacity to allow room for fuel expansion.
    • Use proper venting systems and check all connections for leaks before transport.
    • Follow all local, state, and federal guidelines for the storage and transport of fuel.

By adhering to these precautions, you can ensure the safe and reliable use of your transfer tank while protecting your vehicle, environment, and compliance with regulations.
