Shurtape CP 631 is a general-purpose, medium-high adhesion colored masking tape designed for labeling, color-coding, decorating, and identification, and it also works well for light bundling, holding, splicing, banding, and packaging tasks. It uses a flexible colored crepe-paper backing with a synthetic rubber adhesive to provide strong quick-stick adhesion while still releasing cleanly from a variety of surfaces. The tape is conformable, easy to unwind and hand-tear, and resists water, oils, and many solvents for reliable jobsite use. This black roll is 18 mm x 55 m (about 0.70" x 60 yd) and is roughly 4.7–4.9 mil thick.
