CP 225 Gold (FrogTape® 225 Gold by Shurtape) is a performance-grade, moderate-temperature masking tape with medium-high adhesion for precision paint masking and metal-fabrication work in transportation and marine applications. It bonds well to metal, plastic, rubber, chrome, anodized aluminum, and fiberglass, delivering sharp paint lines, good conformability, and residue-free removal. The fine-structured crepe backing with rubber-based adhesive resists water, salt water, solvents, and abrasives, and is compatible with gel coats and common industrial coatings. Rated for temperatures up to 225°F for up to 30 minutes, this single gold roll is 18 mm x 55 m (about 0.70" x 60 yd) and is roughly 6 mil thick.
